Grand Prix Debut 2022
Taylor & Demetrios were able to spend a 2nd season in Wellington. They were fortunate enough to spend 3 months training under Debbie McDonald & Tracy Roenick. The absolute highlight of the season was debuting Demetrios at Grand Prix. Finishing the season 2nd out of 21 with a 69% was icing on the cake!
November 2020
Demetrios earned a 73% both days at PSG & I-1 (at only his 2nd ever) taking 2nd place behind our coach. Smiles all around & readiness to take on the International Ring.
Wellington 2021
Demetrios had a great 1st season in Wellington, Florida continuing to compete in the International Ring at the Small Tour level. We happily finished behind our coach & were able to put in 2 months of solid training.
Road To Championships Aug. 2020
The best feeling to date was given at this show. While it may not have been reflected in the judges score (that happens!) finishing the weekend with another 70% at PSG left Taylor all smiles. Next stop is Championships!
Thermal CDI I & II Nov. 2020
Demetrios competed in his first CDI at the Small Tour Level. He was an absolute professional in the big atmosphere of the International Ring. He end up in the top 3 each class for both back to back weeks. Proud is an understatement!
July Jubilee July 2020
2020 has been strange for all competitors & this was Taylor & Demetrios’ first time out for the season. Demetrios competed again at PSG & debuted at I-1. Despite the incredible heat (temp. reached near 110) he won both days and pulled off another 70%. We are beyond proud and excited for this horse!
Ranked #1 2019
By 2019 Demetrios became the Number 1 Ranked Rheinländer Stallion in the country at the PSG level. This was an incredible and exciting honor for Taylor and Demetrios.
Fabilant - Sold
Fabilant sold to a lovely new home fall of 2019. He was a pleasure for Taylor to train from a 4 yr old at Training Level to a 9 yr old FEI horse. Wishing nothing but the best for him and his new owner!

DEL MAR NATIONAL APRIL 2019
Taylor competed both of her self trained horses at Prix St Georges. Demetrios placed 2nd both days scoring up to 68%. Every show gets better and better with this young stallion! Next stop, the CDI ring! Poor Fabilant couldn’t seem to have his judges in agreement, with one scoring a 67% and the other a 61% totaling a 64% and 5th place. This is dressage and Taylor chooses to focus on the positive feeling he gave her in the ring. Each time he goes in he gains confidence in himself and the level. Now back to work for a short break until the next show in June.
AWCDF IV April 2019
With no rain in sight, after 3 rained out attempts, Taylor was finally able to debut her 9 year old self-trained KWPN gelding Fabilant at Prix St Georges. It was Fabilant’s first time in the big international arena earning a respectable 3rd place behind her stallion who under Steffen earned 1st place both tests with a 71% & 72%.
AWCDF III FEB. 2019
Taylor debuted her 7 year old stallion Demetrios at Prix St Georges earning a 65%. Unfortunately, the remaining days of the show were rained out and she was unable to get back in the ring with Demetrios. It was a great beginning to their FEI career with lots of room for improvement.
Spooktacular oct. 2018
Taylor competed Demetrios and Fabilant at Spooktacular. Demetri0s debuted at 4th level and he did not disappoint - earning 73% and 70% with 1st and 2nd placings. This was Fabilant’s second outing at 4th level and he felt even more confident than the last show earning 1st place. This was a great show for a great cause remembering Lisa Blaufuss, Taylor was honored to partake.
Del Mar National April 2018
Taylor competed Demetrios and Fabilant. Demetrios earned a 70.9% at Third Level. There is still much room for improvement but it was a great show for the pair! This was Fabilant's first time out at Fourth Level and he was fantastic winning with a 68.8% and coming in a close 2nd with a 67%.
AWCDF IV Feb. 2018
Taylor competed Demetrios at Third Level earning 67%+. It was a great first show for the pair to get to know each other in the show ring! Demetrios was invited to be in the USDF Trainers Conference under Steffen's riding in February. Johann Hinnemann was the instructor and it was not only great to see the team go in such an environment but incredibly educational as well.
AWCDF II & III Jan. 2018
Taylor had her coach Steffen debut Demetrios for his 1st show on U.S soil. It could not have gone better! The 6 year old stallion won both tests with a 75% and 77% at Third Level earning Open High Point and Open High Point Reserve! Beyond grateful for Steffen's help with this young horse. The future looks bright!

Taylor competed Fabilant at Third Level Test 3 he won both days with a 71%+. This was his 1st time out at 3.3 and he handled it like a seasoned professional.
July 2017
Taylor officially welcomed Demetrios to the family. Demetrios is a 2012 Rheinlander stallion (Diamond Hit x Florestan). He is her international ring hopeful and they have been in training with Steffen since his arrival in the U.S.
Dressage Affaire cdi march 2017
The amazing Poulidon turned 20 on March 19th and of course he celebrated by getting his very own carrot cake. Don't let his age fool you Pouli won his CDI at small tour in Texas the year before. Taylor and Poulidon competed in their first West Coast CDI in the The Dressage Affaire at San Juan Capistrano earning respectable scores at the small tour level.
Spooktacular oct. 2016
Taylor debuted the Bowen family's Monterrey at his first dressage show at Training Level. Monterrey earned a 64.3% with a 2nd place on Saturday and a 69.5% with a 1st place on Sunday. This former hunter turned dressage horse has an exciting future ahead! It was great getting to meet members of the California Dressage Society and experience our first show in San Diego.
High Roller CDI-W Jan. 2017
Taylor took Poulidon, Fabilant & Monterrey. Poulidon won all three of his I-1 classes earning up to a 68.5%! Fabilant debuted at 3rd level, he tried his heart out scoring up to a 67.5%. Monterrey bumped up to First Level earning up to 67%! A big thank you to Monica and the Bowen family for entrusting him with Taylor.
california Bound! Aug. 2016
Taylor made the decision to move her business to Steffen and Shannon Peters’ Arroyo Del Mar in San Diego, California. Arroyo has been like a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is incredibly inspirational while the facility provides a top notch training environment for the competitive dressage horse.
Shoofly Farm CDI/HDS Spring Classic may 2016
After losing the barn to the "Tax Day Floods," the CDI was the furthest thing from Taylor's mind. Deciding to give it a go and hoping some friendly faces would brighten up the situation, Taylor competed in her first CDI with Poulidor. Placing 3rd in the PSG, the pair then took home 1st place honors in the I-1!
HDS Winter I & II jan. 2016
Taylor debuted Poulidon at I1 winning both days with a 67% & 68%. They were Open FEI High Point Reserve Champion on Saturday with a 67.1% (winner was a 67.2%). The HDS Year End Awards Banquet was on Saturday where Taylor took home Reserve Champion for Open Training Level on Fabilant.
